Welcome to Colin Blakey Music.

My name is Colin Blakey and I live in Taynuilt, Argyll. I’m an experienced musician and music teacher.

Currently I’m offering face-to-face lessons in guitar, bodhrán, and music theory. I also run an introductory bodhrán drumming workshop called The Bodhrán Experience which is particularly suitable for visitors to the area, and also for local groups.

I’ve been involved with music in one way or another for many years, as a performer, a teacher, and a composer/arranger – you can read more about my musical shenanigans here.
